Over de functie

Your key tasks are:

You ar responsible for the execution of sold projects, according to budget, deadlines on contractual requirements: you plan the project execution, define milestones and priorities for the project team members. You coodinate and organize the differtent activities within the project flow and the follow up of the tasks, timing an requirements by means of regular progress meetings.
You are the single point of contact for the customer and the crucial link between client and the project team members and the management for topics related to the project implementation. The projects you are handling are mainly located in West-Europe often in France.
As Project Manager you actively control and forecast the project budget. You follow up on financial and contractual milestones with the customer and you are present at site meetings.
You structure the project administration & communication. You manage project related suppliers quotations, purchase and subcontracts.

You are reporting to the Head of Projects and work closely with 2 project directors and the project team members ( project design engineer, project engineer, control & automation engineer, commissioning engineer, site manager).

Functie eisen

You have a master's degree in engineering and you have at least 5 years of Project Management experience.
As you are communicating directly to our customers and you are actively guiding the project team towards a successful completion, your interpersonal skills are key.
Meeting deadlines, prioritizing and delegating key responsibilities amongst the project team members keeps your fire burning.
You can express yourself fluently in English, French and Dutch. Any other language is an asset. Your communication style is naturally, diplomatic, convincing and to the point.
You will be based in Harelbeke and you are willing to travel for short periods up to meet the customer's project team up to 5-15% of your time.
